Cook on low heat to medium heat for about 8-10 minutes.
CINNAMON SUGAR
Mix all of the ingredients together.
FRENCH TOAST
Mix together all of the ingredients with the exception of the sourdough bread.
Cut off the ends of the loaf. Slice the loaf of bread into 1-inch slices. You should get about 6 slices.
Depending on the size of your skillet, you can begin putting the sliced bread in the French toast mixture 3 slices at a time.
Heat skillet on low to medium. The skillet should be hot enough to toast the bread without it sticking to the skillet, but low enough so the cinnamon sugar can create a slight caramelization without the bread burning.
Add a tbsp of butter if toasting 3 slices at a time. A a little less if you are toasting 1-2 slices at a time.
Sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon sugar on the side of the toast that's to be toasted first. When that side of toast is golden brown, flip and sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon sugar on the other side of the slice of toast.
Repeat with each slice.
As the French toast is finished, put it on a plate, and top it with apple pie topping and syrup.
