Don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of time this cookie takes. It is such an elevated cookie.
I’ve tasted it at a 30-minute chill time, 12 hours, and 36 hours. If you can let the dough rest for at
least 2 hours, that’s good. If that’s too long, 30 minutes will do. Just know, the longer the dough
rests the better. So, if you can give it 36 hours – go for it. Just scoop a few balls of cookie dough
out immediately to bake and suddenly 36 hours doesn’t seem so bad. Lol!
