Super Easy Garlic Kale

Garlic kale is so easy to make and such a flavorful combination.

Are you looking for a side dish that’s easy to prepare? This Garlic Kale is super easy to make and such a flavorful combination. Kale is a healthy leafy green that is a complement to almost any dish. You can make salads, wraps, and so much more like this sauteed garlic kale.

At one time, it was common to only see kale used as garnish. Lol. For a while, I thought it looked good as a garnish for a deviled egg presentation. I had always seen kale at buffets in the salad bar and not as an option for salad but as garnish for some of the ingredients. Nowadays, kale is known to make delicious salads, of course, even tossed in pastas, and for kale chips.

If you do consider using kale as a salad, you may notice the leaves can be a bit on the hard side. If you’d like, you can massage the kale. Massaging the kale is when you rub the kale between your hands, crunching them to soften them. You can use olive oil or lemon juice and salt to tenderize them as you massage. This is usually an option if you’re making a kale salad.

In this recipe, I used one tablespoon of olive oil. You can use a little more if you choose to. You can even add a little vegetable stock and place a lid over the kale to steam. If you do, you’ll have to adjust the salt.

So, tell me; do you like kale?

I love kale now. I love to make raw vegan kale wraps. They are so delicious!

Raw, sauteed, or roasted; kale is simple and tasty.
